Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers Lead Historic NASA All-Women Spacewalk

In a landmark achievement for space exploration and gender representation, NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers led the agency’s latest all-women spacewalk, continuing the legacy of female pioneers in space while breaking new ground for future missions.

This historic extravehicular activity (EVA), conducted aboard the International Space Station (ISS), marked the first time that McClain and Ayers paired together for a mission of this scale.
